What is Kingdom?
Kingdom is the second highest taxonomic rank, just below domain. It's divided into smaller groups called phyla. In the United States they use six kingdoms (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista, Archaea/Archaebacteria, and Bacteria/Eubacteria). But in the UK, India, Australia, Latin Ameria and some other countries used five kingdoms (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protoctista, and Prokaryota/Eubacteria). Here we only going to talk about two kingdoms: Animalia and Plantae.
